I’m Andy Ralph, consultant trainer for the Big Question Company. I have 35 years investigative background, including military, with the last two years dedicated solely to training investigators and interviewers.
My career has taken me to many places and differing roles, including safeguarding, the running of major scenes and the investigations following those incidents through the criminal justice or coroners process.
Throughout, my priority has always been to seek answers for victims and bereaved, the only way that has been possible is through thorough and painstaking investigation and meticulous interviewing of relevant persons gaining true accounts and being able to identify and challenge when discrepancies are evident.
I have been privileged to serve in the time that those with additional needs and communication difficulties have had their voices heard and recognised. I pride myself with my continued work in the ability to communicate and interview those with communication difficulties and vulnerable persons in a way that their accounts can be heard.
In addition to my professional life I have worked and volunteered with additional needs schools, as a class helper and governor, the National autistic society, National Police Autism association and riding for disabled which has given me a great insight into other organisations.
I look forward to putting the experience and skills developed and practiced in both my professional and personal life into the training environment and delivering a bespoke top tier package to the next generation of investigators and interviewers.
